SAP EWM · Mobile RF execution
Warehouse execution on the device in your hand.
TRIGR is a scan-driven app for SAP EWM. Picking, putaway, counting, stock enquiry and handling-unit moves, carried out on an industrial scanner, a phone or a vehicle-mounted terminal, and written straight into your own system.

What TRIGR is
A client, not a second system. TRIGR runs your warehouse tasks on the device in the operator’s hand and confirms them into your own SAP EWM over SAP’s released public APIs. EWM stays the system of record. There is no shadow stock, no parallel master data and no middleware product to license and keep upgraded.
Screens, steps, validations and the order of fields come from configuration rather than code. A flow that does not match the way a warehouse actually works is a configuration change, not a development cycle with a transport behind it.
The problem
Warehouse RF has not moved in twenty years
On the floor
Screens designed for a four-line display, tap targets sized for a stylus, and a raw system message the moment SAP rejects something. New operators need days before they stop asking for help.
In IT
Every screen change is a development object. Every device generation is a project. And the ruggedised guns you standardised on are getting harder to source each year.
In the project plan
Mobile scope is where EWM implementations lose their float: a rebuild per transaction, tested twice, signed off late, and revisited the first time the physical process changes.
Who it is for. Ideal for businesses who run their warehouse on SAP EWM and want swift, responsive scanning features that allows operators to perform at their best.
PICK WO 0004711 TSK 03/07 BIN 0010-1-C-07 TG20 QTY 000009 EA _____ E: MSG 235 FLD QTY INVALID F1=BACK F3=EXIT F5=NEXT
Four lines, a field code and a message number. The operator has to know what 235 means.
The next step, the expected value, and the problem in a sentence the operator can act on.
What changes with TRIGR
Shorter to implement
Flows are set up, not built. Mobile scope stops being the part of an EWM project that eats the float, and the cost follows the effort down.
Flexible
Different flows per process, per role and per device. A new starter can get more steps and tighter checks than an experienced picker on the same task.
Adaptable
When the physical process changes, the screen changes with it. Not at the next release, and not behind a change request.
Configurable
Screens, steps, fields and validations are configuration. No ABAP, no custom RF transactions, no transport to schedule.
Why TRIGR
Six things that decide whether an RF app survives contact with a warehouse
Guided, scan-driven flows
Each warehouse task becomes a sequence of steps with the next action always on screen. Nothing to memorise, and nothing to type that can be scanned.
Checks that stop the mistake, not the report
Scanned bin and handling unit must match the task, quantities stay inside their bounds, and required fields are worded for the operator. A wrong pick found in dispatch costs an order. Found at the bin, it costs three seconds.
It keeps working when the signal does not
Work done offline is held on the device, encrypted, and sent to SAP once signal returns — in the order it was performed. Built for outdoor yards, shielded areas, and aisles where metal racking or liquids kill the signal.
Built on SAP’s released public APIs
No core modification and nothing blocking an upgrade, cloud or on-premise. Outbound, inbound, internal moves, stock, counting and resource logon are covered, and anything else EWM exposes through a released API can be added the same way.
Runs on the hardware you already have
Industrial scanners, vehicle-mounted computers, phones and tablets, using their built-in scanners and cameras. Not locked to one manufacturer, so a hardware refresh is not a redevelopment.
Flows from configuration, not code
Screens, steps, buttons and validations are configured. Multi-step flows can branch on what was scanned, and several SAP calls can chain behind a single confirmation. A new flow is configuration, not a development project.
Industrial scanner
Zebra, Honeywell, Datalogic. The device’s own scan engine.
Vehicle mount
Forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers. Landscape, gloves on.
Phone
Company or personal. Camera scanning.
Tablet
Inbound desks, packing benches, goods receipt.
How it fits your landscape
TRIGR runs against SAP EWM wherever your EWM runs: S/4HANA on-premise, S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, embedded or decentralised.
It connects through the APIs SAP releases and supports for this purpose. Nothing is modified in the core, no custom RF transactions are added, and none of our code runs inside your system. Your upgrade path, your clean-core policy and your extensibility rules stay exactly as they are.
That is also what makes it portable. A site that moves from on-premise to private cloud, or an estate running more than one deployment model, keeps the same app and the same configured flows. What changes is where SAP runs. What the operator holds does not change at all.
No core modification, no custom RF transactions, and none of our code inside your system.
Three ways in
Find out whether TRIGR fits, at whatever depth suits you
It’s free for anybody to explore the app, start with the one that matches how you buy. None of them commits you to the next.
Put it in your hand
Download the app and run a full picking round in about two minutes. Real screen flows, real steps, real order — on sample data that cannot touch a live system. Picking, putaway, counting, stock query, move HU and open work are all open. The barcode scanner is live, not simulated. No account, no trial period, no sales call.
Download the free appSee it on S/4HANA
We show TRIGR running against a working S/4HANA system on our side, so there is nothing for you to prepare, provision or open up. Picking, putaway and counting against live SAP data, with the flows configured the way a real warehouse would have them. Bring the transactions that cause you the most trouble.
Request a demoTalk through the fit
A call about what sits underneath: which released SAP APIs TRIGR uses, how flows are configured rather than coded, what a clean-core deployment looks like in your own landscape, and where it would and would not help your operation. No slides unless you ask for them.
